Our approach
Use the minimum data needed for a reviewed workflow.
Meetlane separates company fit, evidence, contact readiness, draft review, and manual outcomes so uncertain information can be held instead of guessed or sent automatically.
Data we handle
We handle only the information needed to operate Meetlane, review business leads, communicate with business contacts, and support customers.
- Account and workspace details you provide, such as your name, work email, company, and campaign inputs.
- Business-contact details such as a person's name, role, employer, professional profile, work email, and public company context.
- Lead-review records, including fit decisions, public evidence, contact-readiness states, draft-review decisions, and manual outcome notes.
- Technical and usage data needed for security, reliability, billing, and public-site analytics.
Where data comes from
Business-contact data may come from the person or company directly, customer-supplied lists, professional sources, company websites, public job posts, and service providers used for deliberate contact or evidence checks.
- Meetlane does not treat a public source as proof that every fact is current.
- Customers decide which paid checks to run and which reviewed drafts reach Gmail.
- Meetlane does not automatically send or schedule outreach.
Why we use data
We use data to provide and secure the service, review leads and evidence, prepare drafts for human review, answer requests, improve the product, and send relevant business communications.
- We rely on contract or pre-contract steps when providing an account or requested service.
- We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate B2B prospecting, service security, product improvement, and business administration.
- We use consent where law or a specific optional feature requires it, and legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing and international processing
We share data only with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, bill, or deliver the service and with authorities when legally required.
- Providers may include cloud hosting, database, payment, email, analytics, and carefully selected data services.
- Where data is processed outside Croatia or the European Economic Area, we use an applicable transfer mechanism and provider safeguards.
- We do not sell personal data as a standalone product.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only while it is needed for the purpose collected, to operate the service, resolve disputes, meet legal duties, or protect against abuse.
- Suppression records may be retained so that an objection or opt-out continues to be honored.
- Retention periods depend on the record type, account state, contractual needs, and legal requirements.
- We use access controls, least-privilege service boundaries, encryption in transit, and operational safeguards appropriate to the data and risk.
Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- You can object to direct marketing at any time by replying to the message or emailing [email protected].
- We will stop marketing to an objecting address and retain only the suppression information needed to respect that choice.
- You may also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency or another competent supervisory authority.
